SXU Athletes Succeed in the Classroom

Saint Xavier Athletics is a powerhouse on and off the field.  Not only does the program have a high reputation for its athletic accomplishments, but also for its scholar athletes.  Almost every team has players that awarded conference Scholar-Athlete awards, as well as Academic All-American.  Many teams even are NAIA Scholar Teams.  To be a Scholar Team, the average GPA for the team must be at least a 3.0.  Read More 

SXU's Place-Kicker, Tom Lynch, Receives Fred Mitchell Award

Saint Xavier University's place-kicker, Tom Lynch, received the 2010 Fred Mitchell Award.  This award is given to the nation's top place-kicker in the FCS, Division II, Division III, and NAIA for excellence both on the football field and in the community.  Lynch was one of over 600 eligible place-kickers for this award, named after Fred Mitchell, the All-American place-kicker from Wittenberg University.  Read More

SXU Women's Basketball, Brittany Jones, is Awarded the St. Catherine Award

Saint Xavier women's basketball player, Brittany Jones, has been selected as the 2011 recipient of the Saint Catherine Award.  The Saint Catherine Award is given annually by the Kappa Gamma Pi for outstanding service and leadership.  Jones will be presented with the award at the Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, April 13th, 2011.
