SXU Football Player Raises Money For Special Olympics by taking part in the Polar Plunge

Saint Xavier University Football Player Matt Munizzi, jumped into Lake Michigan for the Polar Plunge after raising around $500 for Special Olympics.  Matt has been helping out at the polar plunge the past 10 years, but this year he decided to "take the plunge."  He has been helping out at this event for so long because his aunt used to be the president of Special Olympics.  Read More

Runners on the Cross Country Team Create an Organization Called L.O.V.E

After some of the members from the Saint Xavier women's cross country and track teams returned from their service trips in 2009, they decided they to create an organization together called L.O.V.E (Love Of Valuing Everyone) and their mission was to reach out in love to populations less fortunate and to encourage others to do the same.  Lauren Dentzman, Dana Eppley, and Barb Roman were the founders of the organization.  Read More
